From the shores of Provence to the eyrie of Führer
August 1944: the pace of the Liberation quickens. In Provence the allied troops arrive. Supported by FFI, they pursue the occupation from town to town. In Paris, an army of insurgents rose, anticipating the arrival of the liberators of Normandy.
These exceptional archives lend life to the crowd of anonymous soldiers, partisans, escaped from occupied France, forgotten artisans of the Liberation.
Their efforts against Nazism will lead them to cross the Rhine, and write the final chapter of these terrible years.
