A Network on Council of Europe Cultural Routes Studies (NCRS)
The European Institute of Cultural Routes cooperates closely with Universities and research centers since its establishment.
A number of European Universities have created postgraduate programs on cultural heritage and tourism management, with special modules dedicated to cultural routes, in particular those of the Council of Europe; several conferences, summer schools, seminars are dedicated to cultural routes, with an increasing interest on this topic.
Thesis and researches at the national and international levels are also conducted on different aspects of the Cultural Routes.
The European Institute of Cultural Routes established in 2013 a University Network on Council of Europe Cultural Routes Studies, NCRS, as one of the actions conducted in the framework of the Council of Europe Cultural Routes programme and in cooperation with the European Commission.
The aim of the network is to encourage teaching, increase researches and mutual exchange on cultural routes of the Council of Europe in different countries and different fields of research.
